Game play
In Tiles Of The Unexpected, each player takes a turn drawing tiles from a bag. On your turn, you draw one tile and keep it secret. You can then either play the tile or draw another tile. You must always reveal what was drawn on your previous turn. Play proceeds clockwise around the table with players deciding whether to play their tile or not until someone declares Eureka! and reveals their hand – any remaining tiles in their hand are immediately discarded and they win!
Sample Game Play
The tiles are numbered 1-20 and each has a word written on it. The person who created the game places all of them face down on the table, shuffling them around. They then pick one up and read it to themselves before placing it face up in front of the player they think is most likely to have guessed what’s on their tile. Once they’ve placed their tile, they pick another one from the pile and repeat this process until all 20 tiles have been revealed. The player with the highest total wins!
